The most efficient way to begin lessons is with a phone call or a visit to the Family Music Studio website.
You can review lesson fees, studio policies, and learn about the many opportunities that will be presented to your child.
My 2009-2010 Calendar is now available for viewing, please contact me for open lesson times. We will schedule a consultation to meet one-on-one and discuss the goals and expectations both you and your child have to share. I use the Bastien Piano Basics Series with supplemental repertoire.

I do not generally require a minimum age requirement for students, decisions on the appropriate age to begin lessons in my opinion, depends on the child's level of maturity and comprehension skills. Six to eight years old is a wonderful age to begin lessons, but for those interested in starting earlier, I suggest enrolling in Family Music Studio's Music For Little Mozarts. This interactive class teaches the fundamentals of music to children ages 3-6 with fun songs, instrumental rhythm studies, and colorful characters that kids love! This is a great way to give your child a solid fundamental background before beginning piano lessons.
